How sharing works
Share a home with the people you live with. Everyone in its household sees and edits the same inventory — every room, item, receipt and warranty — and changes show up for everyone right away.
Who's in a household
The owner, who created the home or had it handed over, and up to 1, 5 or 10 other people, depending on the owner's plan (Free, Plus or Max). An open invitation holds a seat until it's accepted, declined or expires.
Inviting someone
By email: they get a link that's valid for 7 days and join by signing in with that address. Or with a join link or QR code: anyone who opens it can join while seats are free. It's valid for 7 days, and you can turn it off at any time.
What everyone can do
Everyone can add, edit, move and delete items and rooms in the shared home. Only the owner invites and removes people, hands the home over and can delete it. Your other homes stay private.
Seeing what changed
Recent activity shows who added or changed what over the last 90 days, and the home shows who's looking at it right now.
Leaving and removing
Members can leave at any time, and the owner can remove anyone. Either way, access to the home ends at once. What they added stays in the home.
Plans
The home runs on the owner's plan, so its item and storage limits apply to everyone in it. Handing the home over moves it to the new owner's plan.
